how to work together
My Process
Select the package you're interested in and let me know when you're looking to schedule your session, any location ideas, and the overall vibes. From there, I will send a contract over with the agreed-upon details. Once your contract is signed, I will send an invoice that can be used to pay the deposit. Signed contract + paid deposit = BOOKED!
You'll receive a questionnaire that will help me tailor your session to you. What kind of shots are you most interested in? How do you want your final gallery to feel when you open it? Your answers will help me build out a mood board and playlist for your session! It's also a way to help me get to know you a little more.
It's the day of your session! HOORAY! It doesn't matter if we're together for 15 minutes or 2 hours, it's time to have some fun and capture your charming laugh! I will be on my tiptoes, squatting and rolling around on the ground as you get comfortable in front of the camera. I will tell you what to do with your hands, or let you have free rein if you're feeling it! You will be reading my mind by the end of your session.
After your session, I will look through alllll the shots and pick the best ones. You'll receive a handful of sneak peeks within the week (because if I'm dying to edit, I know you'll be dying to see them!) Your gallery will be delivered via an online gallery where you can look through to download your favorites! You receive the highest quality (full resolution) images to print, share, and enjoy for years to come.
After your gallery is delivered, I don't just disappear...
I will be your cheerleader for years to come. I seriously have the best, most SLAY seniors and grads, and I want to know what's happening in your life. How's college? How was the move? Did you meet the love of your life? Are you starting your career? I can't wait to see you through these next amazing chapters of your story.
Common Questions & Answers
will You Photoshop That Out?
Yes and no! Skin touch-ups (I see you stress pimple), removing small background objects, and taming some of those fly-away hairs are my standard! But, please do not expect everything to be removed/changed in the edit. The more we can remediate in real life, the better! I will not change or distort any physical features, remove medium-to-large stains or tears on clothes, dog/cat hair, or wrinkled clothing.
How many images will we receive?
I do not have a set number of deliverables for most of my packages! The only limit I have for the Main Character Moment. However, typically, an hour shoot will produce 200 final images (100 color and 100 black and white edits). I HAVE been known to deliver closer to 300 for some galleries! It all depends on how much we are moving around, what our location has to offer, how many outfit changes there are, etc.
What areas do you service? Do you travel?
I am based in Springfield, Missouri, and serve the surrounding 417 area! This includes, but is not limited to, Republic, Rogersville, Ozark, and Nixa. For locations outside of a 30-minute drive from Springfield, mileage fees will apply. I am definitely open to traveling for your session, though! Fill out a contact form and include any questions about travel and your desired location.
do you have a studio?
I do not have a personal studio space! However, we are lucky to have access to two photo studios in Springfield, MO. Lightbox and Urban Studios are available to rent if you are looking for indoor photos. Lastly, studio rental time is not included in every package, so if you book a Signature Session but want photos in a studio, you will have to cover the rental cost.
When will we get the photos?
My standard is to have your photos delivered in two weeks! Based on my workload, I will always let you know if I expect your gallery to take longer to edit! My busiest months are April, May, September, and October. If your session is booked during one of these months, expect a three-week turnaround time. BUT! I know how excited you are to see the photos, so all sessions will have sneak peeks sent out within the week following our shoot.
